Coalition Of Tinubu Support Groups Meet, To Mobilise 10million Votes For Tinubu

As the 2023 general elections draw nearer, over 300 support groups, under the National Coalition of Tinubu Support Groups (NCTSG) is set to meet in Lagos, on Sunday, June 26, 2022, ahead of their forthcoming national conference, at Abuja, the nation’s capital, for effective mobilisation of over 10million votes in support of Tinubu’s presidential bid.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the national leader of the All Progressives Congress, was elected as the parties presidential flag bearer for the 2023 general elections by the delegates of the party in May, 2022.

In a press statement made available to news men in Lagos, the Director General of the coalition, Prince Ambassador Akintola Oluwasayo, who is also the President, Asiwaju Like Minds Nationwide, and Better Nigeria Ambassadors, said that the objective of the meeting in Lagos was to foster more synergy among all the support groups, for better coordination of their activities, and also put finishing touches to their agreement on the 10million Voter Mobilisation Exercise across the country.

Reminding that the Sunday’s meeting would be the second round of meeting of over 300 support group leaders, Oluwasayo affirmed that the coalition members are solidly behind Tinubu’s candidature, and would work in unison to deliver the 10 million votes they agreed, which would automatically give the APC presidential flag bearer the winning edge at the polls.

Describing Tinubu as a global best brand, Oluwasayo stressed that holistic coordination of the activities the marketers, who are this time the support groups, would make the brand well felt and acceptable as the campaign would be tailored toward strategy and construction.

“As you all know, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a global brand, as such, those marketing him need to come together as a body, in order for the brand’s total unique selling proposition to be felt and accepted. Moreso, we thought it wise because there is no committed central body for proper identification of numerous support groups clamouring for Asiwaju’s ascendancy as the next President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“With over 300 active and registered support groups as members of the coalition, our focus now is on our forthcoming national conference at Abuja, where there would be the 10 Million Voter Mobilisation Declaration.

“It is no longer news that some of the support groups in the coalition have over two million membership across the country. So the 10 million voter target by the coalition is realistic and easily achievable.

“The Lagos meeting would bring all the national leaders of each of the over 300 support groups to put finishing touches on the strategies towards a successful national conference at Abuja. I can tell you of a surety that with the coalition support and mobilisation formulae, Asiwaju would win even before 12noon on the election day, because these support groups are grassroots oriented with national spread, and inclusive of all tribes and religion in Nigeria”, Oluwasayo further stated.

Corroborating the D.G, the National Coordinator of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Grassroots Volunteers (B.A.T-G.V), Hon. Engr. Dozie Nwankodu said that the coalition became necessary so as to carry all support groups along, which hitherto was not the case. He further said that the meeting, which would make it second time in two weeks would precipitate the direction for the forthcoming nationwide conference, in a bid to kickstart the 10 million voter mobilisation for Asiwaju across the country.

Nwankodu further maintained that with the coalition, all Tinubu support groups would begin to have human faces, as the leadership and members are composed of eminent men and women, who for long, have been at the fore-front investing and championing Tinubu’s presidential cause.

“You know in politics, those that believe in a cause and have been spending their hard earned resources over the years should be carried along.

“I know of some support groups in this coalition that started championing Tinubu presidential cause as early as 2019; that was when it was not even clear whether Asiwaju would show interest in contesting for the elections. So, all of us coming together would foster a more and unique synergy to ensure that are clamour over the years for Asiwaju to take over the mantle of leadership is actualised, taking cognisant of his leadership antecedent, as well as his disposition as the most qualified, capable to re-engineer the Nigeria project into meaningful, sustainable and stable status”.
