Prophet Tomi Arayomi, Founder, Restoring Issachar’s Generation (RIG) has urged Nigerians to be wary of leaving the country in “search for greener pastures”.
He urged them to rather stay back and rebuild the nation.
Arayomi said this in a sermon at the end of the 2022 Conference of the Summit Bible Church, Abuja on Sunday. The eight-day conference was tagged “Fullness”.
According to Arayomi who was a guest speaker at the event, as 2023 general elections approaches, citizens must stay back and vote for the right candidates.
He said that Nigerians should stay back in the country and rebuild it.
“Nigerians, it is not time to run, it is time to stay; it is time to occupy and a time to stand.
“It is time to stay back and vote for leaders who will change the economic fortunes of this country.
“Christians must arise and take a stand because God wants to revive the land,” he said.
He further said that the assignment God had given the Church was to occupy the land till Jesus returned.
Arayomi said “Jesus already won the victory and has assigned the Church to enter society to enforce Christ’s victory and prevent the enemy from reclaiming territory.”
“Quoting from the Holy Bible, 1 Samuel chapter 2 verse 30, the cleric said that when Christians honoured God, the reward was a glorious life.
“It is honouring God that brings His glory upon you and your praise and honour to God determines your market value,” he said.
The Senior Pastor of the Church, Andy Osakwe, who led a prayer session for the country, said that the Church was rising to fulfilling the purpose of God for Nigeria.
“A new Nigeria is emerging and will take it’s rightful position in the comity of nations,” he said.
