A Pastor with the Celestial Church of Christ, Omotayo Valentine Akingbesote, is facing allegation of raping a 19-year-old simply identified as Loveth and causing her death.
The incident happened at Igunshin in Ondo West Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Report in general circulation said Loveth had desired prosperity and long life and on that account approached Pastor Akingbesote to seek spiritual help.
The chief cause of Loveth’s desperation, according to reports, was that her mother died at a young age, and left her younger siblings to her care.
But the 65-year-old had wicked plan; he reportedly gave her Largactil, a drug for treatment of severe depression or behavioural disturbance, which made her drowsy and weak and in that state took her into a room in the premises and raped her.
“After raping his victim, Pastor Akingbesote packaged her to the road leading to her residence and on the fourth day of being indoor died, prompting the police to pick her killer up,” sources said.
