The beneficiaries to collect their bank drafts tomorrow, Wednesday 20th September, 2023 at University of Fortune, Igbotako.
This is unprecedented in the annals of history in the political landscape of Ondo South senatorial district, in fact, In Ondo State, no senator has done this within 100 days in office since the return to democracy in 1999.
By tomorrow morning the people’s senator is going to flag off the rehabilitation and maintenance of roads in the following communities:
1. Okitipupa - Igbotako 25.9km general maintenance.
2. Igbotako roundabout- Big Soul Hotel.
3. Asphalt overlay and maintenance of 500Meters from Igbotako roundabout- Chief Paul Adeyekun house.
4. Road construction and asphalt overlay at Odogun 36Meters and width of 7.5Meters.
5. Inspection of installation of 410 solar lights for Ilutitun, Igbotako, Iju Oke,Iju - Odo, Oloto, Igodan- Lisa, Okitipupa, Erekiti - Luwoye, Araromi Obu , Abusoro and Agbetu.
Furthermore, in the period under review, the people’s senator has pushed some bills at the floor of the senate, this includes:
1. A bill for the establishment of Bitumen Development Commission (BDC) by the Federal Government.
2. Insurance Amendment Act of 2023.
3. Motion for urgent Federal Government attention for the good people of Ayetoro Community in Ondo South.
He has also facilitated the payment of #200Million by Niger Delta Development Commission ( NDDC) to the contractor handling the light project at Ode- Erinje.
Truly, this is viable and vibrant representation at it top most echelon. This is the real dividends of democracy, it’s what we get when we elect a man who is ready to serve his people. Araba hits the ground running without wasting time. He has proved the naysayers wrong!
Traditionally, an average senator would wants to recoup whatever he spents on his election in his first three-six months in office, but Araba being a man who has been on-top of his game for over 30 years has gotten what it takes to bring dividends of democracy for sustainable growth and development to his people without waiting for constituency allowance.
