Head of Service clears air on recruitment, employment stories

The Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, OHCSF, has rubbished recent publications on social media concerning recruitment and employment procedures.

The employment and recruitment procedures were allegedly linked to OHCSF and it described them as false, adding that they should be disregarded.

“These publications are undoubtedly the work of fake and fraudulent job racketeers and scammers,” a statement by Mrs Eno Olotu, Head, Information and Public Relations, said.

The OHCSF said it wished to further state that “all matters of recruitment and employment in the Federal Civil Service are statutorily under the purview of the Federal Civil Service Commission and any other government institution authorised to do so.

“All Federal Civil and Public Service employment opportunities will be published on official Government websites and portals.

“The person and institution referred to in the online publication do not exist. The portal listed is neither that of the Federal Civil Service Commission (www.fcsc.gov.ng) nor the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (www.ohcsf.gov.ng).

“We advise the public to remain cautious and vigilant, as this is the most effective way to combat fraudulent recruitment schemes and unauthorized solicitations for payments in connection with Federal Civil Service employment.”
